Directions for Consigning
* You may bring in your gently used Clothing, Handbags, Shoes, Jewelry, Perfume, and Accessories that are in current style, seasonal and free from stains, rips, odors etc. * Items need to be cleaned, pressed, and hanging (We will return your hangers the day you come in and replace them with our own). Jeans may be neatly folded. *We will keep your items for up to 60 days and consignors (You) receive 40% of the selling price. * Consignment is by appointment only, we will sort through your items while you shop. Expect a wait time between 15-30 minutes. *Items we do not accept: Suits, formal dresses, wedding dresses, plain tops. If you are unsure if we would accept some of your items bring them in and we would be happy to let you know! *Bring in a minimum of 6 items and a maximum of 20 items to begin your consigning contract (we will not look at more then 20 items at once) *We do not allow drop offs. Plan on staying "on site" while we go through your items. *Items must come from a smoke free home. *Feel free to call with any questions during business hours. Terms and Conditions: CONTRACT TERMS: 1. Retained Fees: General Merchandise: Sixty percent (60%) of the selling price shall be retained by Ashley's Consignment. 2. Liability: Ashley's Consignment assumes no liability for the loss, damage to or destruction of any item consigned. 3. Imperfect Merchandise: Items in need of repair or cleaning may be donated without notice to the Consignor. 4. Pickups: Consignors must notify us the day we create your account that you would like to pick up unsold items at the end of contract, give a minimum of seven (7) days notice before pickups, and will be responsible for a $5 pick up fee for each batch of items collected. 5. Pickups: Consignor must pick up all unsold items within two (2) months from the date of consignment or ALL unsold items not picked up after the end of the contract period will become the property of Ashley's Consignment. A percentage of profits from unsold items may be deposited into consignor accounts. 6. Price Reductions: All items consigned may be subject to a price reduction at the discretion of Ashley's Consignment. 7. Consignment payments will be voided 6 months from contract date. 8. Record Keeping and Follow-Up Calls: It is the responsibility of the consignor to maintain all records of consigned merchandise and call to confirm sales, pickups and contract termination. 9. Consignor profits may be picked up anytime during store hours. |
